Tulip Festival Special

📅 4 Days / 3 Nights Starting from ₹10,999

About This Package

The Tulip Festival Special is a seasonal tour built around one of Kashmir's most spectacular events — the annual blooming of Asia's largest tulip garden. The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar, officially opened in 2007, spans 30 hectares on the foothills of the Zabarwan hills and features over 1.5 million tulips across 68 different varieties. Every spring, from late March to mid-April, the garden transforms into a breathtaking carpet of red, yellow, pink, purple, and white tulips with snow-capped mountains as the backdrop. The festival is usually held in the first week of April and draws visitors from across the world.

This 4-day tour combines the tulip garden with Srinagar's finest heritage attractions. You'll explore the three iconic Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh, built in 1633 with 12 terraces representing the zodiac signs; Shalimar Bagh, built in 1619 as Emperor Jahangir's gift to his queen Nur Jahan; and Chashme Shahi, the smallest but most beautifully located Mughal garden with a natural freshwater spring. You'll glide across Dal Lake on a traditional shikara past floating gardens, houseboats, and lotus blooms, and visit Pari Mahal — the "Palace of Fairies" — a seven-terraced garden from the Buddhist era perched high above the city with panoramic views of Srinagar.

This package is perfect for spring lovers, photographers, garden enthusiasts, and families looking for a unique seasonal experience that's only available for a few weeks each year. The combination of vibrant tulip fields, centuries-old Mughal architecture, and the serene beauty of Dal Lake makes this one of the most visually stunning tours in Kashmir. All garden entry tickets, a Dal Lake shikara ride, hotel accommodation, daily breakfast and dinner, and private cab transfers are included — so you can focus entirely on soaking in the colours and capturing unforgettable spring memories.
